For two weeks, between 22.1.–3.2., the museum’s shop will sell old railway-themed literature and publications along with its usual offerings.
Throughout the year the Finnish Railway Museum receives many railway-themed literature and publication donations. From these donations, the museum’s library collection will be updated first. Secondly, some of the literature and publications will be sent to other museums and archives and the rest will end up on sale for the use of private researchers, authors and railway enthusiasts. Language of the literature is usually Finnish.
On Tuesday the 29th of January, on Valtteri´s nameday, the museum ja literature sale will be open between 12–18. Otherwise it will be open between 12–15 during the week (Tuesday to Friday) and between 12–17 at the weekends.
