There are lots of activities for children and families during the autumn holiday week 15.–20.10.2019.
On Tuesday 15.10. the nostalgic Dm7 diesel train unit "Lättähattu" ("Flat hat") will operate on the museum´s track between 11 am. and 2 pm.
On Thursday 17.10. it is possible to hop onboard the historic steam locomotive "Leena" and experience the railway atmosphere of the olden days. Leena operates on the museum´s track between 11 am. and 2 pm.
Ticket prices to Leena and Lättähattu: 4 € per person, children under 7 years of age travel free of charge.
In addition during the autumn holiday children may color and craft images of locomotives and carriages in the museum´s workshop. You may also try your gaming skills as there are some railway themed board games available at the museum.
The Finnish Railway Museum is open during the autumn holiday week 15.10.–20.10.2019: Tue-Fri 10 am.–3 pm. and Sat-Sun 10 am.–5 pm.
