The nostalgic Dm7 diesel train unit “Lättähattu” (“Flat hat”) is the subject of a special event at the Finnish Railway Museum on the Epiphany, 6th of January 2017.
During the event you can attend presentations, hear stories tell by the actual Dm7 drivers and view old advertisement films. Presentations, stories and films are in Finnish. A small pop up exhibition “Hyvää matkaa Lättähattu” can be visited as well. Every visitor also gets a free cup of coffee due to a national event “Hetki kulttuurin ja kahvin parissa” (“Moments with culture and coffee”), organized by the Finnish Museum Association.
The museum will be open 6.1.2017 between 12 -17. The Lättähattu day is one of the Finnish Railway Museum’s events celebrating independent Finland’s centenary year.
